Privacy Policy

GolemUI (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This website (golemui.com) is the documentation and marketing site for the open-source GolemUI form engine. This policy explains what limited data the site processes.

The data controller is GolemUI S.L., registered in Spain. For any privacy-related question or to exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@golemui.com.

This is a static website. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

The only data stored is kept locally in your own browser to make the site work and is never sent to us:

  • starlight-theme (local storage) — remembers your light/dark theme preference.
  • sl-sidebar-state (session storage) — remembers whether the documentation sidebar is expanded or collapsed.

These are strictly necessary, functional storage items. Under the EU ePrivacy rules and GDPR they do not require consent, and you can clear them at any time from your browser settings.

Like most websites, our hosting provider and CDN may automatically record standard technical request data (such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested) for security and to keep the service running. These logs are not used to identify you and are retained only for as long as needed for those purposes.

Pages may load resources from third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • GitHub — source code, changelog, and issue links.
  • npm — package pages and version badges.
  • CDNs (e.g. icon and font providers) used to deliver static assets.

We do not share any personal data with these services beyond what your browser sends when requesting a resource.

If you are in the EU/EEA, the GDPR gives you the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Because we do not collect personal data through this site, in practice there is usually nothing for us to act on — but you can always reach us at privacy@golemui.com, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
